With their new website and mountains of information for women’s charities and support congratulations to the Women’s Resource Centre who have been given our Women’s Legacy Award for December 2013.
About the WRC from their website
“the WRC is the leading national umbrella organisation for the women’s sector, working towards linking all aspects of the women’s movement. We support our members to be more effective and sustainable through training, and we lobby the government on their behalf on a range of women’s issues.
Overall, we are working towards transformational and substantive equality for women. We achieve this through being a thought leader in the women’s sector, joining-up-the-dots of women’s inequality to push for empowerment its true sense: supporting women and women’s organisations to achieve their full potential.”

Charity of the Month
Rosa is a charitable fund set up to support initiatives that benefit women and girls in the UK. Because, while many women and girls here do enjoy freedom of choice and the opportunity for success in their lives, that’s simply not true for all. Our vision is of equality and justice for all women and girls in the UK.
Women aren’t short of ideas to help create positive change in their lives, but they are often short of the money needed to turn those ideas into reality. That’s why Rosa was launched in 2008 – to help raise more money for women’s projects and organisations.
